This package is will provide B&Bs and other small businesses in the leisure industry with everything that they need to establish an online brand.  The cost is one-off and includes hosting, email addresses and a domain name free of charge for the first year

There are no ongoing monthly costs associated with this package.

Initial telephone consultation to learn more about the needs of your business.

Branding and Website Design and Development
2 original website designs, including logo design, to choose from, based on needs of business. Development of a self-editable website using the final design, to include: 
  • up to 10 content pages (content provided by client), including terms, privacy policy and cancellation policy if needed.
  • inclusion of client-provided images (if available) to illustrate the site.
  • (optional)  up to 5 images from our professional stock galley, based on the approved design.
  • 1 online contact form (details emailed to website owner).
  • 1 “sign up for special offers” form (details emailed to website owner).

Even businesses without a big budget require a website that is fully optimised – after all, if the search engines can’t find you, your website isn’t working hard enough. Any websites we design, therefore, will be optimised from the word go.  Keywords will to be embedded into the design, in the website and into the images, and all pages will have:

  • Meta names
  •  Meta descriptions
  •  Appropriate Titles Once the website is complete, the website will be submitted to all the major search engines, which will help with initial placing. 

Initial search engine optimisation doesn’t guarantee placing, however, so we also provide access to information that will: 

  • Help you write search engine friendly content
  •  Help you promote your website yourself (which is low cost and just time needed) with a list of actions that will help to get your business noticed online

 

We offer this information at no additional cost to help demystify the internet and also to help on the budget front, but for a small fee, can do it for you.

 

Domain and Hosting (free for first year from set-up)

For those businesses who don’t already have a domain name and website & domain name hosting, we will provide: 

  • 1 .co.uk or .com domain name that reflects your business name to better promote your business brand (subject to availability)
  •  An associated email address – i.e. suzanne@mybedandbreakfast.co.uk - instead of a hotmail/aol type account because this again promotes the brand and looks much more professional.
Plus:

Reliable hosting that includes 250Mb Disc Space, 1Gb monthly

bandwidth, 5 POP email accounts, webmail, catch-all. forwarding

& Spam Assassin and daily back-ups which won't cost a fortune

after the first free year is completed.

 Visitor Information

 

Website owners need to know who is visiting their site – not individual names (as this is, for obvious reasons, almost impossible to track), but how many hits per day, from which part of the country and so on. This package provides a visitor counter to  track visitor numbers and provide weekly reports.

      Website owners will have access to a 15 minute telephone  tutorial to show you how to update your site. 

 

P     Plus, you will have access to a website that will answer          common questions and provide information on how to promote  your website on an ongoing basis.

Additional (optional) Services

 

  • Monthly Search Engine Optimisation:  £50 + VAT per month (mixture of promotion through forums, networking groups, online articles, online press releases & search engine submission)
  • Update Package:  £20 + VAT per month, to include update of images and text once a month.
  • Special Offers:  £150 + VAT per mailshot, to include design and content optimisation (email list provided by website owner).
